Palo Verde Hospital Partners with
Valley Emergency Physicians, Inc. to Provide Emergency Department Services

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. – Valley Emergency Physicians (VEP) will begin providing emergency department management and staffing solutions for Palo Verde Hospital in Blythe, Calif. beginning August 16, 2010.
"We are delighted to have this opportunity to enhance the health care services in Southern California," said VEP President, Steve Maron, M.D. "Creating a relationship with Palo Verde Hospital is a milestone for VEP that enhances our efforts to provide the highest quality health care for Californians."
VEP, which is a provider managed, provider owned corporation, will complement Palo Verde Hospital by providing a core group of Emergency Medicine Physicians dedicated to southeastern California.
VEP is intensely focused on quality data by measuring, reporting and improving upon it. While constantly striving to provide higher quality care, they also focus on providing compassionate care.

Palo Verde Hospital is a 51-bed acute care hospital, with about 9,500 ED Visits per year, located in Riverside County. The hospital also serves the neighboring communities of Blythe, Midland, Palo Verde, Ripley, Cibola, and Quartzsite.
