Sutter Solano Emergency Department wins 2009 “Caught in the Act” Award

The Emergency Department at Sutter Solano Medical Center in Vallejo, California was awarded the 2009 “Caught in the Act” departmental award. This award recognizes one department within the hospital that has had the greatest improvement in patient satisfaction, quality of care, financial stewardship, and employee satisfaction over the past year. At an awards ceremony on November 12th, the Emergency Department was presented with a trophy in recognition of their achievements in addition to t-shirts that they were given that can be worn at work to show-off their achievement to the community!
Valley Emergency Physicians began providing Emergency Department staffing and comprehensive medical management services to Sutter Solano in September 2007. Since this time the patient satisfaction scores have increased dramatically with the addition of a stable, local group of Physicians and Physician Assistants working in collaboration with the dedicated management team at Sutter Solano.
