El Centro Regional Medical Center and Valley Emergency Physicians Collaborate to Provide Services in the Imperial Valley

Valley Emergency Physicians is excited to announce that we will begin to provide Emergency Department staffing and management services on December 1, 2008.
El Centro Regional Medical Center serves the 43,000 residents of the City of El Centro and the 175,000 residents of Imperial County. The Emergency Department serves an annual patient population of 40,500 patients at this Level IV Trauma Center.
El Centro Regional Medical Center (ECRMC) is a licensed 165-bed general acute care facility located in El Centro, California. ECRMC is committed to providing the community with high quality healthcare as reflected in its mission statement:

ECRMC has completed a recent $44 million dollar expansion providing the community with a state-of-the-art facility. Included in this expansion is the only rooftop heliport in the County allowing ECRMC to provide superior trauma care to our patients. Valley Emergency Physicians Medical Group (VEP) is a California Professional Corporation formed in 1981 whose stockholders are its practicing physicians and allied health providers. VEP provides emergency medicine and primary care physician services to 25 hospitals and 3 hospital affiliated clinics. Our administration office is located in Walnut Creek, California.
