Patient Satisfaction Scores at Sutter Solano Medical Center Emergency Department are On the Rise

Valley Emergency Physicians would like to congratulate the Physicians, Allied Health Providers, Nursing Staff, Ancillary Services, and Hospital Administration for the meteoric rise in patient satisfaction scores for the Emergency Department. With the support and leadership of every member of the team, the Emergency Department has been able to post a rise in patient satisfaction scores from the 4th percentile in March 2008 to 81st percentile for patients with dates of service in July 2008. This amazing increase is with a large number of survey responses.
Some of the changes which have led to this amazing increase include: increased provider staffing, the implementation of new Point of Care Testing including urine pregnancy, I-STAT chemistry analysis, dedicated EKG equipment in the Emergency Department, and implementation of Provider AT Triage--Valley Emergency Physicians revolutionary change in patient flow management in the Emergency Department.
Congratulations to the Emergency Department Staff at Sutter Solano Medical Center! The data for August 2008 is even more impressive. Check back here for an update in early September!
