Dr. Robert P. Wyman Starts at Vice President of Clinical Operations-Emergency Department

Valley Emergency Physicians is excited to announce that Robert P. Wyman, M.D., M.S, C.P.E. has accepted the position of Vice President of Clinical Operations-Emergency Department (VPCO-ED) as of August 25, 2008. Dr. Wyman brings twenty plus years of diverse clinical and leadership experience. He has successfully implemented programs to enhance ED operations and quality of care in both the ED and Fast Track environments.
Dr. Wyman's most recent position was developing his position of Chief Medical Officer for a 250 bed community medical center in New Jersey. His experience led to significant improvement in patient safety, Core Measure performance, and patient throughput from Emergency Department to discharge from in-patient units. Prior experience also includes Emergency Department Medical Director at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine facility, among other directorship positions.
In addition to his clinical expertise and leadership abilities, Dr. Wyman has developed multiple computer applications which are still in use at his previous facilities.
Valley Emergency Physicians would like to welcome Dr. Wyman to our group of physicians and allied health providers who have more than twenty five years of providing high quality medical care to the communities which we serve.
